Here is a typical family man who wanted to get a Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) for trips to the mountains or the beach.
The guy walks into a Ford showroom down town.
He was approached by a sales man and he was shown a variety of options and models that he can choose from. They finally decided on a model.
Below is the conversation.
SM -Sales Man.
F- Father
SM: Sr, you have made a wise decision by choosing the Ford Everest. It comes with a V8 engine,
230 hp and it has 7 seats which just perfectly for you family of 5 kids and your wife which
includes you.
F : Yes.
The sales man gets to the next room to get the pricing and the other charges.
SM: Here you go Sr, now it comes to the challenging part, the book price of the car is $160,000,
the tax is 10 percent of the price, which is $16,000 and another $6,000 for registration and
logistics.
There was a five minute silence. Two man were starring blankly at each other. Finally....
F : This is a little bit of my budget. Can the price be re-arrange?
SM: No.
This can be very embarrassing and unhelpful.
Normally, the guy who voice out first after a statement is made, loses. Think of ways that the buyer and seller can gain the best out of each other.
