The Year of 2010.

In another few more hours or so, the year 2010 will be coming to an end. There were many interesting events which happened in this year. I have visited places and tasted good food. It was a year where I had most of it, mainly at home.

I would like to welcome 2011 with open hands. Mind you, it is four ones come the new year. 1.1.11. Nice digits. It is something like a binary code or something.

In 2010, we had the World Cup which is technically the biggest event in South Africa where Spain won the cup. I was actually in Singapore attending an exibition.

2010 was also a year of a tiger which is my animal year.

On November 2010, I visited Hong Kong. It was my first time flying. A memorable trip and I enjoyed it.



Now is the coming of the end of a memorable year.

I am looking forward to another year. Maybe a year of hope and blessing. I wish for health, wisdom and prosperity.

Dining at Sri Karak, PJ.

This is another food outing with my cousin and his girl-friend. This time we decided to look at Petaling Jaya.


Above is one of the famous delicacies you can find at Sri Karak. They call it Durian Bomb. It cost RM 1.80 each.

A plate of fresh water prawn with egg mee. Guess how much it cost? 100 gram is RM 9 and the prawn was 600 gram. You do the math.

Overall, the restaurant is a nice place. It is clean and neat. The waitress there is quite helpful and friendly. We got to speak to the owner of the restaurant and we found out he is a photography enthusiast. 7/10 rating.

Sacrifices.

I know I can say this and that but it isn't easy to attain those goals. It goes to say it is easy said then done. It is never easy. I know that because I have to admit I am a slow learner and I need a fair bit of concentration.

I want the best yet it is easy to get carried away. What do I mean by carried away? The things I want to do I do not but those things which does not benefit me at all I do. It is funny to say the least but yeah, it is true in fact.

I came out with a big solution. The solution is sacrifices. To eliminate those unfruitful thoughts and events is an art but it will be an investment in the long run. A very simple theory. Replacing that which is of no value with something beneficial. I can only control what I desire and what I really want. I want to have a normal life with lots of answers and solutions in mind.

There is a check-and-balance in everything we do and doing everything moderately is an answer. It is the same thing as eating. My weaknesses is that I like to eat and I tend to over eat. That is bad. Control is very important as much as sacrifices.

The only way to solve my problem is through constant meditation and also focus. My mind must not be interrupted by matters which doesn't benefit me at all but to focus on matters that will be helpful to me in the long run.

By learning to say no, I have conquered half the battle. Saying no is important. This will help me to be well focused and also ready to be a complete person.

This is the characteristics of LOVE which is written in the Holy Bible. In order to know the deeper meaning of love, it be wise that we follow these attributes of love.

In everything we do, we must put on LOVE because love covers a bountiful of sins.

Reasons why Manchester United will beat Chelsea.

I am not a witch doctor neither a fortune teller but due to recent results, Manchester United will defeat Chelsea in their home and away encounter.

First, Manchester United defeated Chelsea in the Charity Shield cup by 3 goals to 1. Berbatov scored the last goal which he scored three times against Liverpool at Old Trafford. If we look at the number of goals, Berbatov has scored 6 goals in the league. I am betting on Berbatov to score against Chelsea when both teams meet.

Secondly, Chelsea losing their first league game to Manchester City, the blue half of Manchester. Who scored on that day? It was the former striker of Manchester United, Carlos Trevez. According to Sir. Alex Ferguson, Chelsea had easy matches in the first few encounters of the season. Yes, it is true. But when they come to the big teams, they never look like winning.

Thirdly, they lost to Liverpool which is today by two goals to nill. Liverpool, who is 16th of the table and were finding their form in the later stages of the game were totally dominating the game against the Blues. Looks like Carlo Ancelotti has to do some thinking here. Ironically, Liverpool lost to Manchester United at Old Trafford this season and it was a close encounter with Steven Gerrard scoring twice but not enough to see off goals from Berbatov. Chelsea losing to Liverpool without scoring, will they be able to beat Manchester United?

If Manchester United were to beat Manchester City this Wednesday, there will be strong eligations that they the Red Devils might just do it against Chelsea. This is yet to be seen.

The season is yet still a long way to go but I feel there will be some changes at the peak of the table come the new year. I just feel it is the Reds season once again due to the arguements above and judging by the past results. Fingers crossed.

Blessing in Disguise

Lo, the author breath in new life. Never was he totally in control of his life but after all the hurdle and upsets, he has matured into one strong block. Thou shall not tumble him down. No more. No doubt the waves may come again but now he is much stronger to withold the current.

Everything happens for a reason. This is an old saying. It is true. The author can't deny the fact that some things are just mend to happen for the sake of knowing it and also learning and becoming stronger from the past. It is a long story which the author might not narrate everything due to time and also privacy.

First thing first, the true love has gone stale. Too many disposal. Never again to believe in such feelings. Not that the author has no feelings but all those feelings have been piled up with lots of burden. He has come to his logic, something which doesn't work at all will never work or worth spending time. The author prefers for it to come naturally.

The knowledge in this world is abundant. There is too much to learn. It applies to any subjects. The author feels ackward when others feel bored. Recently, the author had been pciking up photography skills. There is so much to learn in this subject. Adjusting the exposure and the brightnest of the portrait. There are different outcome for each settings while playing around with the settings through trial and error really does magic. A picture tells a million words.

Recently, there are many things running in the author's mind. It is like a disc running furiously in a player. The author's hearing becomes sharper and more sensative. Listening to the sounds around really gather much information but some are at its disposal. There is too many things and sometimes there are some information which is void. Everything is considered information. The brain can only take in a given amount of information and those information which is baseless are discarded. Those information might be a waste product if not discarded and the mind which is a powerful tool will interprate those wasteful products and the mind will wonder away from the main course and people will lose their focus.

Losing to your devil causes death slowly. Never bow down to yourself. No one will harm you but you yourself. Most of the time, the devil comes from the individual. This is call at war with your own soul. There is a good and bad side in everyone but letting the bad side get to you is something dreadful. The courage of gaining that little confidence definitely bring fruitful outcome. The author has gone through dramatic situation where he let his devil loose. Through spiritual blessings and also teaching will set straight your soul. The entanglement of the soul is caused by strife, sadness and also worrisome. All this is through experience of the author with self rectification.

The steps to growing up is not direct. There is no one fixed way. The most important is expressing yourself well. Letting out those dreadful moments. Some prefer to ignore but some prefer to share it. This is part and puzzle of growing up. Who say life is boring, huh?

Walk-walk Find Food Episode 1

This blog is all about food. Food is always my top-of-the-list topic. Recently, I have been scouting around for nice and delicious food with my cousin, Aaron.

First stop, this is a restaurant recommended by Aaron. It is located in Dataran Sunway, Kota Damansara. The name of the restaurant is Kar Heong. It sells chicken rice and other delicious delicacies.

Can't remember the fruit's name. It was some kind of a green fruit.

Above were some of the food that we ate at Kar Heong. This shop only opens on alternative days. Parking is a problem but there are ample parking lots. You will be lucky to get a lot near by.

Our second visit on the same day was with Aaron's family. We went to Kepong to have our second taking. The name of the restaurant was Sai Kong. We had a normal chinese food dishes.




Fried clamps. Known as lala.

Taufu with melon.


Deer meat.


Steam fish with asam.

Overall, the food at Sai Kong wasn't that bad. I give a rating of 3 out of 5.

Nuskin Convention (Johor - Singapore) Part 3

The final day of the convention was on the 10th of July. We again had to go through the same routine from Johor to Singapore. We have to wake up early to take a bus from Johor to Singapore.

The last day, they have talks from distributors whom have been in the business for Nuskin. They told their story about how they developed their business and the ups and downs they faced in the business.









There were live performances by different groups and the group which won the contest was the group from Malaysia. They did a brilliant performance.



The crowd became hyper when the performances were showed. Got a glimpse of the crowd showing their support by moving around.




The lady above is the president of South East Asia. Her name is Melisa Tantoco Quijano. She has received a lot of praises for making Nuskin a top company in Asia.




Those who represent Nuskin and those who have been the top distributors of Nuskin. They were given the spot-light throughout the event.


The million dollar circle members who were presented on stage for their top recognition and also praises. Well done.


Last but not least, the 10 million circle member. Angela and Rayne.

The whole three days were very informative and also joyful. This year's convention would go down to be one of the best if not the most fantastic event that would ever turned up.

Nuskin Convention (Johor to Singapore) Part 2

The second day of the convention was held on the 9th July. We woke up early to catch the bus to Singapore. It was a one day event where there was the show of the group of members of Nuskin and their leaders.




There were many people from all over South East Asia. There were more then 3000 people who attended this convention. The hall was packed with people mainly from Indonesia, Philippines, Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore.

There was the introduction of the leaders of Nuskin in Asia and also there was an interesting motivational talk by one of the leading gurus whose name was Jack.
